Dear Player Two:
Your Rules seem perfectly acceptable. I would add a minimum word count just to make sure we're in the same ballpark each week. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this but I feel like 500+ should be a good place to start. While that seems like a large range, I think we can adjust as things go along. That seems like a decent set of guidelines for this since it really doesn't need to be that formal or strict.
Enough about the rules though! Like I said it's been an uneventful week, though I suspect that has much to do with school starting tomorrow. This is probably the most exciting thing that will happen near this point in time for me. This semester is looking really good, though not as exciting as some of the later semesters.
Earlier this week I was playing some games, I think league of legends was the prime candidate, some friends of friends were invited to join the game. Time to begin complaining. It seems to me that many people that play games, not sure how comfortable I am calling them gamers, and do so with other people while on some form of VOIP (skype, mumble, ventrillo, etc) when they are playing games. That is great, but the problem begins when they don't have a push to talk key or a headset. This drives me insane. It's mostly frustrating because the people who do not have the headsets are not the ones effected by it, and the ones that I have had on these gaming sessions don't seem regretful or sorry.
But enough of my complaining. On to some better news about...well...me. As you recall, the few days before you left for your amazing opportunity, my GCW screen had cracked. It wasn't a big one but it was very noticeable. I've decided that while it's unfortunate, I can live with it and deciding not to live with it would have just been me being very picky. In the interest of the budget and continuing to play my games on something with a decent battery life, I'm going to stick with it, especially with the commute to school starting up again.
Lastly I'm having trouble getting the nitty gritty details of the DnD campaign. I have the story elements down pretty easy but setting up the roads and enemies isn't up my alley...pun intended. I don't think I'll ever be a level designer. I'll get it done but I'm more excited about getting the story through to them.
Goodnight my Player Two, Press Start.
